Front Desk Receptionist/
Administrative Assistant
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Seeking an organized, long-term professional employee for a part-time position who will be the face of the studio and managing the daily operations. The ideal candidate has an outgoing personality with a "can-do" positive attitude that enjoys working with people and strives for quality customer service. We are looking for someone who has an excellent work ethic and goes above and beyond! You will be reporting directly to Waldo y Jacqui, the dance company owners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Must be knowledgeable about all services & classes we offer to be able to sell packages and guide the clients in making an informed decisions
- Welcome and Check in each Guest as they enter the studio
- Be good with details; be willing to do administrative tasks
during lessons - Recording classes
- Be knowledgeable of Google products such as Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, and more
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Have at least 6 months experience in working front desk or a receptionist position in a fast paced environment
- Very organized and detail oriented
- Must have a leader personality
- Be creative and be able to work independently
- Prior knowledge and experience with class registration systems a plus!
- Be responsible and reliable and always arrive on time for shifts
- Be a hard worker willing to impress
- Be kind and polite and a quick learner
- Be a team player
- Have excellent communication, writing and customer service skills
- Be able to work well under pressure
- High attention to detail and multitasker
- Takes initiative and is resourceful
- Speak fluent English & Spanish (is the plus)
HOURS & SALARY
$15 per hour to start (with ability to advance) 6-10 hrs per week
This is the starting salary with potential for raise based on experience & performance.
