Pioneer of Salsa, Bachata and Cumbia in Knoxville, Tennessee
Waldo and Jacqui Solano are the founders of Salsa Knoxville Dance Company. For over 16 years, they have been bringing people together through the joy of dancing. They love sharing their passion for Salsa and Bachata with everyone, no matter their skill level.
Waldo grew up loving Latin music and dance, while Jacqui has a background in performing and teaching. Together, they make a great team, helping people learn new moves and feel confident on the dance floor. Their classes and events are fun, easy to follow, and welcoming to everyone.
They have hosted many exciting events, including performances by famous dancers and Knoxville’s only Bachata Patio parties. Waldo and Jacqui also teach other people how to become dance instructors, so the love of dancing keeps spreading in Knoxville.
Waldo and Jacqui believe dance is for everyone. Whether you’re just starting or have been dancing for years, they make sure you feel at home and have a great time. They are proud to be leaders in Knoxville’s dance community, helping people connect and have fun through the magic of dance.
