I had an amazing experience at Champion Ballroom Knoxville! If you’re looking for a fun and welcoming ballroom dance party, this is the place to be. The atmosphere is friendly, the music is great, and everyone—from beginners to experienced dancers—feels comfortable on the dance floor.
The instructors do a fantastic job making sure you understand the basics before the party starts, which makes it easy to jump in and actually enjoy dancing the same night. I really appreciated how inclusive it felt—no partner or experience needed.
The space itself is beautiful and perfect for social dancing. You can tell a lot of care has gone into creating a place where people can connect, learn, and have a great time.
Highly recommend this spot to anyone in Knoxville who wants to try a ballroom dance party or just meet new people and do something different on a night out!

My wife and I took lessons from Chris to practice for our wedding and we had a wonderful experience. He broke everything down in easy steps, tailored the moves to our ability and was always very nice and pleasant. "I love Champion Ballroom..."
I love Champion Ballroom. My girlfriend and I have been taking lessons from Rhonda for a year and a half. We dance the major dances and we have some nice steps and variations to enhance our basic steps. Everyone is pleasant and the Friday night dance parties are lots of fun. To top it all off: there are no contracts, just very low prices for the high level of instruction that we have received. I highly recommend Champion Ballroom.

About Mark and Rhonda
Mark, along with his wife Rhonda, holds numerous Amateur and Professional titles and nationally ranked placements.
Though he competed in Americal Rhythm and Smooth, his students have also achieved top honors in Pro/Am comps across the U.S. He is a USTA certified adjudicator. He currently spends most of his time in the Knoxville Area working with students of all levels in all dances, whether Ballroom, Latin and, popular club style dances.
As experienced choreographer, he can help you for whatever you request for that special dance, performance or just feeling competent in any social situation. Even better, you will enjoy your lessons, looking forward to your next one.
Rhonda, along with her husband Mark, holds numerous Amateur and Professional titles and nationally ranked placements. Though she competed in Americal Rhythm and Smooth, her students have also achieved top honors in Pro/Am comps across the U.S. She is a USTA certified
adjudicator. Rhonda was also a National Champion Skater in the ISIA and studied dance in college. Her understanding of Body Mechanics Technique and performance is expressed in her teaching easily to the basic beginner or the most advanced competitors. She instills confidence as well as providing flair all while making your lessons an enjoyable experience.
