Purpose: Do you not have time to make lessons during the week? Well, this is your opportunity to
get three hours of intense Beginner Salsa Bootcamp training. You will learn all the
fundamentals for lead and follow as well as basic styling and footwork to impress your
partner on the dance floor.
Time: 1:00-4:00pm (3 hours)
Price: $25.00 (Everyone) in advanced

Waldo Solano
Originally from Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico, Waldo grew up dancing to tropical music, Cumbia and Salsa in Mexico City. He moved to Atlanta, GA in 2003 and was introduced to LA style Salsa by Alfredo Piceno (Salsambo Dance Company) in July 2006. Motivated by what he saw, he began training hard with Alfredo and Jen Piceno. With the desire to expand his personal style and knowledge of the dance, he continued his education with Jimmy Rumba (Jimmy Rumba Latin Dance School), Francisco Vazquez (Los Rumberos Dance Company) and Cristian Oviedo (Dancer, Choreographer and Instructor in LA). His ability to quickly acquire the moves, timing and technique of the dance led him to become a dancer, choreographer and instructor in Salsambo Dance Company Atlanta, GA & Salsaknox Dance Company Knoxville TN.
Jacqueline Sellers
As a graduate from the University of Tennessee with her Masters of Science in Secondary English Education, Jacqui is currently teaching 8th grade language arts at a local middle school here in Knoxville, TN. Although she is very passionate about her students, Jacqui is equally enthusiastic about the Latin dances, in particular Salsa, Bachata, and Cumbia. Introduced to Salsa in the year 2009, Jacqui immediately became addicted to this vivacious and highly energetic style of dance. Currently, she partners with Waldo Solano in SalsaKnox Dance Company as co-owner and ladies styling instructor. She dedicates so much of her learning and knowledge of the Latin dances to Waldo's great encouragement and teaching. He has mentored her in the art and technique of the Latin dances, and she hopes to one day follow in his footsteps to become a great dance instructor and performer, as he has done here in Knoxville, TN and around the southeastern U.S. In addition to instructing, Jacqui also performs all over the southeast with her partner Waldo as well has their Salsaknox dance teams.

Hi, I'm Rebecca & I love Zumba! I'm licensed to teach as of Nov. 19th and very excited to get started and inspire anyone who would love to Party with me! Zumba was never a workout for me because it was so much fun!
My story and experience with Zumba... I was at my highest weight ever and needed to change that for my family and I. Starting weight in July 2009 was 277 lbs. I needed a change!! I needed to get healthy! I found something for me and it was ZUMBA! I love it! It has really saved my life and I owe alot to my wonderful instructor Liz at West YMCA who inspired me with Zumba and making other great choices with eating and life changes I have lost over 100 lbs!!
Zumba has changed my LIFE! With that being said I am putting myself out there to ensure that it can be done and I would love to inspire everyone I can to get where they would love to be. Healthy, Fit and Loving You!
